Heads Up Football

All four organizations that make up the Football for Kids NWA League, will be requiring their football coaches to participate in the USA Football Heads Up Coaching Certifications. This certification will require coaches to participate in football coach training with emphasis on player safety, specifically concussion, heat exhaustion, and overall player safety.

Heads Up coaches will learn practice techniques and routines that will decrease the risk of injury and create a safer environment for youth football in the league. In the preseason, Football for Kids NWA will host a USA Football Heads Up Coaching Clinic in the preseason that all head coaches will be required to attend.
